Job Overview: The position of Manager for Care Integration at CHAI involves leading the next phase of a pilot project aimed at enhancing patient-centric healthcare services in Madhya Pradesh, India. The role encompasses strategic planning and execution of expanded services, transitioning the platform to the Madhya Pradesh government, and engaging with the National Health Authority to integrate Care Integration services into their centralized call center. The successful candidate will oversee a multi-disciplinary team and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of healthcare services, thereby improving health outcomes for the population.
Duties and Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities of the Manager include:
Strategic planning and delivery of Care Integrated services in Madhya Pradesh, scaling up to five districts and expanding service offerings to include appointments at private AB PM-JAY empanelled hospitals and telemedicine.
Developing a roadmap for the introduction of Care Integration services at the National Health Authority, enhancing stakeholder engagement and understanding of current call center operations.
Collaborating with the Care Integration team and state health leadership to facilitate the transition of services to the Madhya Pradesh government.
Working with technology partners to create a technology roadmap for scaling services, including short-term enhancements and long-term integration.
Overseeing Monitoring and Evaluation processes for expanded operations and documenting learnings for dissemination through publications and other channels.
Engaging with donors and managing reporting requirements.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in management, public health, engineering, digital health, public policy, or related fields. A minimum of 8 years of work experience in digital health, management consulting, public health, or public policy is required. Proven performance in a fast-paced, results-driven environment is essential. Preferred qualifications include experience in multi-stakeholder environments, government stakeholder management, and familiarity with e-governance or digital health programs in India.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as management, public health, engineering, digital health, or public policy. This educational foundation is crucial for understanding the complexities of health systems and the management of health initiatives.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience, particularly in areas such as digital health, management consulting, public health, or public policy. Candidates should have a track record of success in dynamic environments and be adept at navigating complex health systems.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory, while fluency in Hindi and additional Indian languages is considered an advantage. Strong communication skills in both written and verbal forms are essential for effective stakeholder engagement and team collaboration.
Additional Notes: This position is full-time and involves a significant level of responsibility, including strategic planning and stakeholder engagement.
