Job Overview: The Training Coordinator position at BISA is designed for a dynamic and innovative professional who is self-motivated and service-oriented. The Training Coordinator will be responsible for designing and organizing training modules tailored for various stakeholders, including researchers, extension workers, farmers, and students. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Training Coordinator include:
Conducting organization-wide training needs assessments to identify skills or knowledge gaps.

Coordinating with experts and resource persons to develop training content and materials.
Maintaining an updated curriculum database and training records.

Ensuring alignment with BISA’s goals and objectives in the capacity development program mandate.

Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for the Training Coordinator position include:
A Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Agriculture, with a specialization in Agronomy, Soil Science, Agricultural Extension, or a related field.
A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated practical experience in capacity-building program coordination, field-based research, and extension activities.
Strong leadership qualities and the ability to develop a partnership network.
Capability to effectively communicate and convince researchers and policymakers about the impact and visibility of the institution through capacity development and stakeholder engagement programs.
Excellent communication and team-building skills, with a good understanding of liaising within the national system and local government.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in organizing capacity-building programs within international organizations.
