Duties and Responsibilities:
Interns will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: summarizing quantitative and qualitative expert surveys on national OSH statistics practices; reviewing selected household survey questionnaires and editing STATA processing syntax to generate relevant variables on OSH for inclusion in survey datasets; conducting desk reviews to identify and fill specific data gaps; preparing inputs such as summaries of literature on statistics related to OSH data collection and dissemination practices; creating summary tables and graphs for reports and practical data collection materials; and assisting in communication efforts related to OSH statistics. Interns will also be expected to collaborate with team members and contribute to discussions on statistical standards and practices.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must meet several qualifications to be considered for this internship. They should have a working knowledge of English, both oral and written, as this is mandatory for the role. Additionally, candidates should be adaptable to an international, multicultural, and multilingual environment, possess good communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team. Experience working with quantitative data and descriptive statistical analysis using sample survey data is essential. Familiarity with specialized statistical software, preferably R or STATA, is also required.
