Interns will be supervised by the National Information Officer and will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects that enhance their understanding of international affairs and the operations of the United Nations.
Duties and Responsibilities: The selected intern will be responsible for a range of tasks that include, but are not limited to: supporting research and outreach efforts for Information Integrity initiatives across the Pacific region; assisting in the content creation and design of videos and social media posts; analyzing social media metrics; contributing to the production of communication products such as websites; conducting research and compiling information; coordinating logistics for events and high-level visitors; assisting with public inquiries; compiling and analyzing data for office reports; attending meetings and drafting summaries; and performing other tasks as necessary to support the office's objectives.

Additional Notes: The internship is part-time, requiring interns to work two days per week for a total of 14 hours. Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations, and all costs related to travel, visas, accommodation, and living expenses are the responsibility of the interns or their sponsoring institutions.
