Job Overview:
The Project Coordinator position is a vital role within the quality improvement special initiatives teams at the American Heart Association. This position is primarily responsible for administering and organizing various projects related to the Mission: Lifeline Stroke initiative. The role requires collaboration with Program Consultants to manage project deliverables, including grant agreements, payments, and overall project tracking. The Project Coordinator will also liaise with multiple departments within the national office to ensure project success. This position is designed to be home-based, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a focus on achieving project goals. The role is full-time and benefits-eligible, with funding secured until June 30, 2027, and potential for extension based on project needs and funding availability.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Project Coordinator will undertake a variety of administrative tasks to support the Mission: Lifeline Stroke team. Key responsibilities include:
  • Administering and organizing project documentation and maintaining accurate records.
  • Coordinating outreach efforts and agreements to facilitate smooth onboarding processes for clients.
  • Planning and organizing events, including continuing education workshops and conferences, ensuring all logistical details are managed effectively.
  • Maintaining strong communication with both internal and external partners to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
  • Collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure timely results and adherence to project timelines.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Project Coordinator position should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for those holding a bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field. A minimum of three years of administrative support experience is required, demonstrating strong process management and organizational skills. Proficiency in PC and computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and database management, is essential.
