The United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office (RCO) in Mongolia is part of the broader United Nations system, which encompasses various organizations that conduct operational activities within the country. The RCO plays a crucial role in fostering interagency cooperation and implementing joint initiatives under the leadership of the UN Resident Coordinator (UNRC).

The intern will support both the RCO Administration and Digital Communications, working closely with the Communications and Advocacy Officer as well as the Executive Assistant to the Resident Coordinator. This role involves assisting in the execution of digital and social media communications, preparing offline documentation for purchase orders and shopping cards, and ensuring the smooth daily operations of the office. The internship is full-time, requiring a commitment of 20 to 30 hours per week, and is expected to last for six months. It is important to note that this internship is unpaid, and candidates must be flexible in their working arrangements to meet the needs of the office.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will have a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to: assisting in the preparation of communications materials for social media platforms, supporting the administration of the RCO by preparing necessary documentation for procurement processes, and collaborating with team members to ensure effective communication strategies are implemented. The intern will also be involved in organizing events, seminars, and conferences, providing logistical support as needed. Additionally, the intern will be expected to engage with different stakeholders, contributing to the overall mission of the UN in Mongolia and promoting sustainable development initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
To qualify for this internship, applicants must be Mongolian nationals and either enrolled in their final year of a relevant graduate program or have recently graduated. Candidates should possess strong digital communication skills, be proficient in graphic design software, and have experience with social media platforms. Educational Background:
