Job Overview:
The position of Expert Review on Debt, Climate and Nature involves providing technical support to the Technical Secretariat (TS) in coordinating activities related to the Economic Review on Debt, Climate, and Nature (ERDCN). The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive report that examines the intricate relationships between debt, climate change, and environmental sustainability. This role requires active participation in stakeholder meetings, meticulous organization of information, and overall support to the TS Director. The position is expected to last for approximately 11 months, during which the recruit will engage in various administrative and coordination tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the TS.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The recruit will undertake a variety of duties under the supervision of the TS Director and the Senior Economic Affairs Officer, including:
  • Carrying out administrative activities to facilitate the joint work of the Technical Secretariat.
  • Participating in stakeholder meetings, taking detailed notes, and representing the Director when necessary.
  • Maintaining organized records of ERDCN information to support TS activities effectively.
  • Organizing and coordinating ERDCN meetings, ensuring all logistical aspects are managed efficiently.
  • Providing comprehensive support for all activities led by the TS Director, contributing to the overall success of the project.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess initial studies in economics, demonstrating a foundational understanding of economic principles and their application in real-world scenarios. Additionally, the recruit should exhibit strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
