The initiative includes over 540 financial institutions, including banks, insurers, and investors, collaborating to understand environmental, social, and governance challenges and their implications for finance. UNEP FI also focuses on policy advocacy, promoting dialogues between finance practitioners, supervisors, regulators, and policymakers at both country and international levels, including participation in global climate negotiations.
