Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and lead a purpose team as a field catalyst for Mutual Help Security, focusing on disaster response and the protection of social entrepreneurs and changemakers globally.
Create a working model or concept that transforms global risks into opportunities for changemaking, collaborating with leaders in security, human rights, think tanks, and intergovernmental and corporate actors.
Build a global community of strategic partners for the field, securing multiyear private funding and resource partners.
Lead a global team and manage core components of the program, ensuring alignment with Ashoka's mission and vision.
Foster relationships with key stakeholders and partners to enhance the program's impact and reach.
Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making necessary adjustments to strategies and operations.
Represent Ashoka at various forums and events to promote the Mutual Help Security initiative and its objectives.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 15 years of experience in entrepreneurial and operational leadership within complex, high-risk, and volatile environments.
Strong fundraising experience, particularly with private foundations, family funds, and corporations.
Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to lead through influence and innovative ideas.
Demonstrated ability to manage deliverables in fast-paced, unstructured environments.
Strong problem-solving, conceptual, and organizational skills.
A track record of successful creative entrepreneurship, with experience in generating new ideas and executing them for system-changing impact.
Proven effectiveness in developing strong partnerships and cross-sector coalitions in an entrepreneurial context.
Openness and flexibility to think across various fields and geographies.
Strong integrative skills to bring together diverse teams and resources for a common purpose.

Additional Notes: This position is full-time and based in Arlington, Virginia. The salary for this role ranges from US$140,000 to US$144,500, plus a bonus.
