Job Overview:
The Protection Technical Assistant will play a crucial role in implementing the protection portfolio according to established plans and international protection standards. This position requires adherence to NRC policies and guidelines, ensuring compliance with safe and inclusive programming. The assistant will be responsible for conducting case management and assessments, developing action plans, and ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Protection Technical Assistant include ensuring adherence to NRC policies and guidelines, assisting in the implementation of the protection portfolio, conducting case management and IPA assessments, developing action plans, and ensuring timely data entry for protection assessments. The assistant will be responsible for maintaining confidentiality of all case-related information, ensuring accurate data entry, and handling all data in compliance with applicable data protection protocols. Additional tasks may be assigned by the line manager as needed, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the protection program.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess knowledge of Psychological First Aid and/or Trauma Informed Interview Techniques, along with at least one year of work experience as a Caseworker in humanitarian or recovery settings, preferably in Iran or Afghanistan. Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential, as well as good computer skills in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Kobo. A strong understanding of case management principles, service mapping, and referrals is required, along with previous experience in protection-related activities being highly desirable. The ability to work in a multicultural environment is also necessary.

Educational Background:
