Job Overview:

Duties and Responsibilities:
The consultant will be responsible for a range of duties including but not limited to: conducting assessments of existing building practices, developing strategies for sustainable building solutions, providing technical expertise in project planning and execution, collaborating with local authorities and stakeholders, preparing detailed reports and documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and presenting findings and recommendations to UNDP and other stakeholders. The consultant may also be required to facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance the capacity of local teams in the buildings sector.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a strong background in civil engineering, architecture, or a related field. Proven experience in consultancy services within the buildings sector is essential. The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of sustainable building practices, energy efficiency, and environmental regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Educational Background:

Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the buildings sector, with a focus on consultancy services. Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, as all documentation and communication will be conducted in English. Proficiency in Turkish is also highly desirable given the location of the assignment.
