Job Overview: The Senior Programme Officer (Women) will play a crucial role in promoting and advancing the empowerment of women in agrifood systems and rural development. This position involves developing enabling policies worldwide that align with the FAO Strategic Framework 2022-3
The officer will collaborate with various UN system entities and partners to provide technical support to the World Food Forum (WFF), focusing on women's specific concerns. The role also includes overseeing career development measures for female employees and managing the overall operations of the Office of Youth and Women. The officer will be responsible for leading the planning, development, and implementation of programs and projects that align with the FAO's strategic objectives, ensuring that women's issues are prioritized and addressed effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Senior Programme Officer (Women) will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of assigned programs and projects.
