Job Overview:
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of specific projects within the UNOPS Ukraine Multi-Country Office. This role involves managing project outputs to ensure they are delivered within the specified tolerances of time, cost, quality, scope, risk, and benefits. The Project Manager will create and update the Implementation Plan, ensuring compliance with the Legal Agreement and understanding the roles of various stakeholders. The position requires a proactive approach to project management, with a focus on sustainability, stakeholder engagement, and quality assurance. The Project Manager will also be involved in the strategic objective of recovery and reconstruction in Ukraine, particularly in sectors such as energy, transportation, housing, health, and education.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Project Manager's duties include developing and updating detailed implementation plans, managing project delivery and performance, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, preparing regular project and financial reports, engaging with stakeholders, and implementing quality management plans. The Project Manager will also be responsible for personnel management, including leading and motivating the project management team, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring safety and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security for all project personnel. Additionally, the Project Manager will monitor project progress, manage budgets and cash flow, and ensure that all project documentation is maintained and up to date throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Management, International Relations, Economics, Law, or Humanitarian Studies. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree combined with two additional years of relevant experience may substitute for the Master's degree. A minimum of five years of relevant and progressive professional experience is required for those with a Master's degree, while candidates with a Bachelor's degree must have at least seven years of experience. Experience in project management, operational support, and working with international organizations is essential, with a preference for candidates who have experience in procurement, infrastructure development, or Mine Action activities.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Master's Degree in a relevant field. A Bachelor's degree may be acceptable if accompanied by additional relevant experience. The focus should be on fields that provide a strong foundation for project management and operational support in humanitarian or development contexts.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of five years of relevant experience for candidates with a Master's degree, or seven years for those with a Bachelor's degree. Experience should specifically relate to project management or operational support, with a strong emphasis on project development, management, and reporting. Candidates with experience in managing projects related to procurement, infrastructure, or Mine Action will be at an advantage. Experience in development or humanitarian support with international organizations is also desirable.

Languages:
Fluency in English and Ukrainian is mandatory, with the ability to read, write, and speak both languages required for effective communication within the role. Additional language skills may be considered an asset but are not specified as mandatory.

Additional Notes:
This is a local position open to Ukrainian Nationals and individuals holding a valid residence or work permit in Ukraine. The contract type is Local Individual Contract Agreements (LICA), with a level of LICA 10/ICS-1
