The Finance Section, where this position is located, plays a crucial role in supporting the Court's operations through effective financial management and compliance with international standards.

Job Overview:
The position of Registry within the Finance Section of the ICC involves providing essential financial services to all Organs of the Court. The role is designed to support the smooth running of the Court's operations and the implementation of its mandate. The Finance Section collaborates closely with the Budget Section to ensure that financial regulations and rules are properly applied and implemented. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the preparation of financial statements in compliance with International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) and assist in ensuring that the Court receives an unqualified audit opinion. This role is integral to the financial management tools that drive the Court towards achieving its objectives while maintaining compliance with international standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Registry position include scanning invoices and credit notes received physically, checking the 'Disbursements' and 'Invoice Management' Outlook mailboxes, identifying invoices and credit notes received electronically, and uploading all electronic invoices and credit notes into the e-Invoice Management System (e-IMS). The candidate will also identify the relevant Cost Center in the ERP system (SAP) for each invoice or credit note, assist in processing payment vouchers for individual contractors and consultants, and support the processing of reimbursement vouchers for (Non)staff members. Additionally, the candidate will replace interns during their absences and assist with ad-hoc tasks for both the Disbursements Unit and Accounts and Treasury Unit, including participating in testing new enhancements related to ERP SAP and other software impacting finance business processes, updating contact details for embassies and permanent missions, and assisting with reconciliations and financial verification tasks.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a degree in Financial studies from a recognized university, with a strong academic record. The position requires candidates to have a very good understanding of financial regulations and practices, as well as the ability to adapt to multicultural and multilingual working environments. Strong teamwork skills, including proactive communication and consultation, are essential. Candidates should also have a good standard of computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications, with a focus on Excel. Knowledge of SAP is considered an asset, enhancing the candidate's ability to perform effectively in this role.

Educational Background:
A degree in Financial studies from a recognized university is mandatory for this position. Candidates are expected to have a very good academic performance, demonstrating their capability to handle the responsibilities associated with financial management within the ICC.

Experience:
Candidates must have at least three years of relevant professional experience in financial management or related fields. Practical experience that aligns with the work of the ICC will be considered an asset, as it demonstrates the candidate's ability to contribute effectively to the Finance Section's objectives.

Languages:
Proficiency in one of the working languages of the Court, either French or English, is required. A working knowledge of the other language is desirable. Additionally, knowledge of another official language of the Court (Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish) or a local language of a situation country (such as Swahili, Lingala, or Acholi) is considered an asset, enhancing the candidate's ability to communicate effectively in a diverse environment.

Additional Notes:
The contract duration for this position is six months, and candidates are required to work full-time during this period. It is important to note that the ICC does not provide remuneration for internship and visiting professional placements, meaning that applicants must be able to support themselves financially for the entire duration of their placement.
