Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the volunteer include:
Systematizing and updating databases related to natural sciences.

Reviewing international policies, projects, and legislation related to water management and watershed issues.
Identifying projects that simultaneously address climate change and biodiversity loss in protected areas.
Creating and editing informative, graphic, and audiovisual content for communication on social media and other relevant platforms.
Providing administrative and logistical support, including assistance with bibliographic materials, meeting minutes, and other related tasks.
Collaborating with team members to ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing within the sector.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must be at least 20 years old and demonstrate a strong interest in UNESCO's mission. They should possess scientific research skills in disciplines such as biology, geography, chemistry, and physics. Additionally, candidates must have the ability to understand and analyze issues caused by anthropogenic activities affecting natural cycles, including climate change and biodiversity loss. Skills in identifying risks related to natural disasters and a basic understanding of socio-environmental crises in Mexico are also required.
