Job Overview:
The Chargé·e des Approvisionnements will be part of a team of six people, supporting the growth of the organization. This position is responsible for managing international procurement and import-export activities for all of Solidarités International's missions. The role also includes stock management and providing active support and advice to logistics teams regarding international procurement. The Chargé·e will work under the supervision of the Supply Chain Manager and closely collaborate with the purchasing officer, overseeing the work of the service assistant. The position requires a proactive approach to ensure that procurement processes are efficient and effective, contributing to the overall mission of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Chargé·e des Approvisionnements will have several key responsibilities, including: supervising and/or directly managing international purchases and import-export operations for all Solidarités International missions; conducting necessary purchases for the establishment or replenishment of contingency and emergency stock; managing stock across various categories including field, contingency, after-sales service, and emergency; participating in the adaptation, evolution, and/or creation of tools and procedures for the purchasing and procurement service; ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures; and providing training and guidance to team members on procurement best practices.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a technical background in logistics and significant experience in logistics roles. A prior field experience with NGOs, particularly in emergency humanitarian responses, is considered an asset. The ideal candidate should demonstrate rigor, analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to manage priorities effectively. Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, is essential. A technical specialization in areas such as international transport or stock management would be advantageous. Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.

Educational Background:
The position requires a technical educational background in logistics or a related field. Candidates should have formal training that equips them with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform effectively in a logistics role within a humanitarian context.

Experience:
The role demands a significant level of experience in logistics, ideally with a focus on international procurement and supply chain management. Candidates should have a proven track record of working in similar roles, particularly within humanitarian organizations, to ensure they can handle the complexities of the position.

Languages:
Fluency in French is mandatory, with a very good level of reading, writing, and speaking. Proficiency in English is also required, as the role involves communication with international teams and stakeholders. Additional language skills may be considered a plus but are not mandatory.

Additional Notes:
The position is based at the headquarters of Solidarités International in Clichy, France, with potential travel to field locations. It is a permanent contract (CDI) with a managerial status. The gross monthly salary ranges from €2,784 to €2,900, depending on the current salary scale at headquarters. The organization offers the possibility of remote work for up to four days a month, in accordance with the existing telework charter and manager approval. Employees are entitled to 2.0833 vacation days per month and one additional day off (RTT) for each complete month of work. Benefits include 80% coverage for health insurance, 60% for meal vouchers, and 50% for transportation costs covered by the organization.
