Job Overview: The National Executive Lead for the Well-Being Program at the American Heart Association is a pivotal role that involves strategic leadership and execution of the Association's Well-Being Programs. This position is responsible for devising and implementing a comprehensive Well-Being strategy that aligns with the organization's mission and goals. The role requires a deep understanding of the health landscape and the ability to develop metrics that demonstrate the success of the programs. The National Executive Lead will work collaboratively across departments to ensure that the Well-Being Programs are effectively integrated and that they meet the needs of the target audiences. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the National Executive Lead include:
Leading the strategic planning and execution of the Well-Being Programs, ensuring alignment with the Association's overall goals.
Developing and implementing an organization-wide strategic plan for Well-Being Programs that resonates with the behaviors and insights of target audiences.
Conducting research and trend analysis to identify market data that informs program development.
Designing and tracking performance metrics to measure the success of program operational plans.
Convening cross-Association working groups to review progress, identify issues, and ensure coordinated efforts towards strategic goals.
Acting as the primary contact for national partners and representing the organization on relevant issues at the national level.
Providing senior leadership with recommendations for resource development and project priorities.
Facilitating collaboration with Development teams to secure resources necessary for program execution.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in business, Public Health, Marketing/Communications, Digital Marketing, Healthcare Professions, or a related field. Additionally, candidates should have at least twelve years of relevant experience, including developing business models and operational plans, managing subject matter experts, and experience in program development and management. Experience in Collegiate-Centered Programs and Public Health is also required. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Public Health or a Master's in Business Administration, which would enhance the candidate's ability to perform in this role.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, Public Health, Marketing/Communications, Digital Marketing, or Healthcare Professions.
