Job Overview:
The position of Coordinateur/Coordinateurice Réhabilitation Électrique Terrain involves coordinating and providing technical support to country offices regarding electrical safety and energy production. The role requires managing human resources related to energy at the country offices and supporting program teams in energy-related activities. The successful candidate will also conduct field visits to supervise work and train local resources in the respective countries. This position is crucial for ensuring that energy needs are met effectively and safely in humanitarian contexts, contributing to the overall mission of Action contre la Faim.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and provide technical support to country offices on electrical safety and energy production aspects.
- Manage human resources related to energy across country offices, ensuring effective team management and support.
- Assist program teams with energy-related activities, ensuring that energy needs are integrated into program planning and implementation.
- Conduct field visits to oversee the execution of electrical works and provide training to local staff on energy management.
- Ensure compliance with electrical standards and regulations in all projects.
- Manage project coordination, planning, technical audits, financial management, and procurement related to energy projects.
- Provide technical training and support to teams and subcontractors involved in energy projects.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of energy solutions implemented in the field.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a degree in Engineering or a Master's equivalent in Electricity, Electrotechnics, Energy, Photovoltaics, or HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning). Additionally, a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in these technical fields is required, including experience in humanitarian settings. Candidates should have experience in electrical compliance, management of electrical work sites, and preventive electrical maintenance. Strong human resource management skills and the ability to train and manage teams are essential.
Educational Background:
A degree in Engineering or a Master's equivalent in relevant fields such as Electricity, Electrotechnics, Energy, Photovoltaics, or HVAC is mandatory for this position. - It is a full-time role based in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis). The salary ranges from €41,000 to €50,000 gross annually, depending on experience. Employees are entitled to 25 days of paid leave and 21 days of RTT (reduction of working time). Health coverage is provided with 80% of costs covered by Action contre la Faim. Additional benefits include transport allowances, meal vouchers, and access to social works. Remote work is permitted from metropolitan territory, with no mandatory in-person presence required except for collective meetings and integration days.
