Job Overview:
The Oracle Cloud Technical Lead will play a crucial role in the American Heart Association's technology initiatives, particularly focusing on Oracle Cloud Applications, specifically in financial and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) modules. This position requires a strong understanding of ERP systems and the ability to develop solutions that enhance financial workflows. The lead will work closely with IT leadership to design and implement technology solutions that improve business operations and support the organization's goals. The role also involves managing a team of Oracle Fusion developers, mentoring them, and ensuring the successful execution of projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be proactive in troubleshooting technical issues and optimizing system performance while maintaining adherence to industry best practices.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to design and implement technology solutions that enhance business operations and support release management.
  • Work with vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance.
  • Manage a team of Oracle Fusion developers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.
  • Mentor and train team members in Oracle Fusion applications.
  • Oversee the Oracle Fusion and EPM applications roadmap and lifecycle management.
  • Gather requirements and analyze business processes to design effective technical solutions.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of Oracle Fusion applications, ensuring compliance with best practices for financial solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for Oracle Fusion applications, including Financials and EPM.
  • Ensure the integration of Oracle Fusion applications with other systems and platforms. 1
  • Monitor and maintain the stability, performance, and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security of Oracle Fusion applications. 1
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements for RICE objects and lead the development team. 1
  • Conduct technical design workshops and prepare integration design and architecture documents. 1
  • Stay updated on the latest enhancements in Oracle Cloud infrastructure and modules. 1
  • Proactively troubleshoot technical issues and develop integrations with other systems. 1
  • Manage communication and stakeholder relationships across teams. 1
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience and training.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in ERP and Oracle Fusion Cloud applications; 7-10 years preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing technical teams and leading Oracle Fusion projects from start to finish.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion architecture, data models, and integration technologies.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Fusion development tools such as PL/SQL, OIC, FBDI, Oracle JDeveloper, Oracle ADF, and Oracle BI Publisher.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Oracle Fusion certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with integrated technologies and systems security best practices, including SSO, MFA, and OCI.

Educational Background:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. Equivalent years of experience and training may also be considered in lieu of a formal degree. Continuous learning and professional development are encouraged, with opportunities for further education supported by the organization.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in ERP systems and Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, with a preference for candidates who have 7 to 10 years of relevant experience.
