Job Overview: The Sr. Marketing Communications Manager will play a pivotal role in the Healthcare Business Solutions (HBS) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) departments at the American Heart Association's National Center in Dallas, TX. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Sr. Marketing Communications Manager include but are not limited to: leading communication strategies for HBS and ECC; developing and executing marketing plans; creating regular communications for the AHA Training Network and Professional Education Hub; managing internal communications to keep teams informed about products and initiatives; developing and editing content for various marketing materials including newsletters, social media posts, websites, and brochures; driving communication support for national and regional conferences; conducting market research related to web analytics; supporting senior leadership with content and presentations; overseeing the ECC Beat and ECC Newsletter; coordinating with the Masterbrand communication team; establishing trusted relationships with senior volunteers; and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Additionally, a minimum of five years of experience in marketing and communications is required, with a strong understanding of online and social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, and exceptional organizational and planning abilities. Attention to detail is crucial, as is the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and see them through to completion. Strong collaboration and customer service skills are essential, along with a willingness to travel up to 10% for local and overnight stays.
