Job Overview:
The position of Coordinateur/trice Finance - RH is part of the Operational Support Staff (OSS) team, which has been established to strengthen existing missions. OSS members are deployed for missions ranging from 3 weeks to 3 months based on strategic priorities. These priorities include covering strategic gaps and providing technical support for existing missions, assisting in diagnostics and the opening of bases and programs, and diagnosing and opening new missions. As representatives of the headquarters during their deployments, OSS members play a key role in upholding the mandate and procedures of Solidarités International in their assigned missions. The Coordinator will lead and coordinate administrative, accounting, and financial services for the mission, ensuring financial balance and compliance with SI procedures, donor procedures, and local laws.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Coordinator Finance - RH will report to the director" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">country director and work functionally with the desk management controller at headquarters. The main responsibilities include:
- Analyzing the socio-economic context to inform decision-making.
- Managing human resources for both expatriate and national staff.
- Leading and managing the team effectively.
- Overseeing financial, accounting, and budget management.
- Handling administrative tasks related to the mission.
- Managing cash flow and treasury.
- Reporting and communication with stakeholders. The Coordinator will supervise the financial team and coordinate with managers responsible for administration and finances at the country bases.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a degree in financial management, human resources, or a business school diploma. They should have significant professional experience in the role of Finance-RH Coordinator, preferably with Solidarités International or another NGO. Technical skills required include proficiency in SAGA and Homere software, strong team management capabilities, and the ability to train multicultural teams. Excellent mastery of Excel is also essential.
Educational Background:
A degree in financial management, human resources, or a diploma from a business school is required for this position. This educational background is crucial for understanding the complexities of financial and human resource management within a humanitarian context.
Experience:
Candidates should have at least one year of significant professional experience in a similar role, ideally within Solidarités International or another non-governmental organization. This experience should demonstrate the ability to manage financial and human resources effectively in challenging environments.
Languages:
Fluency in French and English is mandatory for this position. Knowledge of Spanish would be considered an asset, enhancing the candidate's ability to communicate in diverse contexts and with various stakeholders.
Additional Notes:
This is a fixed-term expatriate contract at a managerial level, intended to replace maternity leave. The salary is based on the expatriate salary scale, starting from 2600 euros per month. Employees are entitled to 5 weeks of paid vacation per year and can recover one day for each weekend spent in the field. Health insurance, life insurance, and repatriation coverage are fully provided. The location is flexible, allowing for residence in metropolitan France or abroad, except during deployment periods.
