The position of Registry within the Budget and Finance Section of the ICC is crucial for ensuring that the Court's financial operations are conducted efficiently and transparently. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Registry position include:
  • Assisting in the creation and refinement of budget input templates in accordance with recommendations from the Committee for Budget and Finance (CBF) and the Assembly of State Parties (ASP).
  • Reviewing, analyzing, and assisting in the preparation and finalization of cost estimates and budget proposals, including both staff and non-staff requirements.
  • Supporting the Section’s Officers by researching and compiling data necessary for the review and analysis of budget submissions.
  • Monitoring and forecasting budget performance and consolidating data for performance reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advising budget stakeholders on the preparation of their budget submissions and guiding them through budgetary processes and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Financial Regulations and Rules (FRR) and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Collaborating with other sections, such as Finance and Human Resources, to ensure cohesive financial administration across the Court.

Required Qualifications:
The essential qualifications for the Registry position include:
  • A diploma of secondary education.
  • A minimum of six years of progressively responsible experience in budgeting, finance, audit, accounting, administration, or a related area.
  • Proficiency in MS Office packages, particularly Excel, Visio, and Word, with knowledge of Access being advantageous.
  • Experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP, is required.
  • Professional experience in an international organization is desirable, providing a broader understanding of global financial practices and regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and format data across various budget functions are essential.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position is a diploma of secondary education.
