Job Overview:
The E T Consultant (IT Workforce Development & Engagement) position at the World Bank is designed for an established and productive individual contributor who will play a crucial role in the Information Technology Solutions (ITS) Vice Presidential Unit (VPU). This role focuses on enhancing the IT workforce's capabilities and engagement through agile program coordination, workforce analytics, and performance reporting. The consultant will work under general supervision, applying independent judgment to complex assignments and producing decision-ready insights. The position requires a proactive approach to managing cross-functional workstreams and ensuring accountability for results. The consultant will serve as a Scrum Master for Agile teams, maintaining delivery visibility in Azure DevOps, and supporting staff engagement initiatives. The overarching goal of this role is to ensure that the World Bank Group has the right technology skills and workforce engagement to achieve its digital transformation objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the E T Consultant include serving as Scrum Master for ITSPE Agile teams, facilitating SAFe ceremonies such as PI Planning, daily syncs, reviews, and retrospectives. The consultant will partner with Product Owners to translate strategic priorities into actionable work plans, ensuring clear prioritization and ownership. Additionally, the consultant will promote the use of Azure DevOps as the primary work management platform, maintaining reliable boards and backlogs. The role also involves supporting the design and maintenance of workforce analytics solutions and preparing executive-ready presentations and reports for workforce management meetings. The consultant will coordinate employee engagement events and support cross-functional reporting by synthesizing progress and performance metrics across initiatives. Furthermore, the consultant will provide guidance to junior colleagues and assist in developing a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the organization.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the E T Consultant position must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree along with at least 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the IT field. An Agile certification, such as SAFe Agilist (SA), is required. Demonstrated experience in Agile program delivery or Scrum Master responsibilities is essential, including facilitation of Agile ceremonies and coordination of cross-functional workstreams. Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or a comparable work management platform is necessary, as well as strong workforce analytics and data visualization capabilities. Candidates should have experience in coordinating organizational reporting and supporting employee engagement initiatives in a complex, geographically distributed organization. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision are also required.

Educational Background:
