Duties and Responsibilities: The Chief Counsel will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including:
Leading the LEGFI team in executing its mandate and functions, ensuring that legal advice is provided effectively and efficiently.
Managing and mentoring staff within the LEGFI, promoting their professional development and career growth.
Overseeing the budget management for LEGFI, ensuring that financial resources are allocated appropriately and effectively.

Collaborating with other Practice Groups within LEG and across the World Bank Group to ensure consistency in legal strategies and messaging.

Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (JD), LL.M, SJD, or an equivalent legal qualification. A minimum of 12 years of relevant post-qualification legal experience is required, particularly in areas related to corporate finance and international financial institutions.
