Job Overview:
The Education Intern position at WWF is designed to support the Wild Classroom program, which aims to enhance the capacity of educators by creating environmental education resources and opportunities that inspire and engage K-12 students. The intern will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and promoting educational materials and initiatives that align with the program's goals. This includes collaborating with various programmatic teams within WWF, such as those focused on oceans, wildlife, and climate, as well as marketing and communication teams. Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: assisting in the development of engaging and inclusive educational resources such as curriculum, presentations, videos, and student materials; conducting research on trends in education and conservation education; contributing to marketing and communication efforts to enhance program visibility; managing educational partnerships and collaborative projects; monitoring and responding to inquiries from students and educators; reviewing program communications and resources; and evaluating the performance of program tactics to provide feedback and recommendations for improvement. The intern will be expected to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Education Intern position should be currently enrolled in or have completed a bachelor’s degree, preferably in education or environmental sciences. Experience in educating youth in both formal and nonformal settings is essential, as is experience in developing educational materials suitable for these environments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is required, and familiarity with AI and Adobe Suite is appreciated. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary, along with strong organizational abilities to manage competing priorities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate creative thinking, take initiative, and be a proactive self-starter who can work independently as well as part of a team. A commitment to the mission and values of WWF, along with a passion for education and conservation, is also crucial.

Educational Background:
