Job Overview:
The position involves contributing to the enhancement of the MoralityCode Mobile App, an innovative ethical decision-making tool that integrates moral philosophy, emotional intelligence, cultural anthropology, and health and medical models. The app is currently functional and available for download, and the second phase of its development focuses on enhancing user experience, improving interface responsiveness, refining the AI/ML reasoning engine, and deepening philosophical content. Volunteers will be tasked with developing new content to enrich the app’s moral reasoning database by integrating diverse philosophical, theological, ethical, and cultural-anthropological insights. Each volunteer will work on a specific enhancement area, ensuring clarity, accountability, and measurable impact in their contributions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Each online volunteer will be responsible for producing structured ethical content for the MoralityCode AI. This includes developing 20 moral dilemmas or ethical scenarios, each designed as a structured narrative case study for AI moral reasoning training. The scenarios should reflect diverse global cultural contexts and incorporate real-world social, philosophical, or community-based situations. Volunteers must ensure that all scenarios follow a structured storytelling and tagging framework, including classification across Tradition, Ethical Framework, Theme, Tension Type, and Context categories. The content must maintain cultural sensitivity, moral neutrality, and respect for spiritual and worldview diversity. Each scenario should be approximately 300–500 words in length, with an average of about 400 words, and include structured elements such as scenario description, key ethical concepts, and guiding reflection questions.
Required Qualifications:

They should have experience in content development, particularly in creating narrative case studies or ethical dilemmas. Familiarity with AI training systems and ethical reasoning frameworks is highly desirable. Educational Background:
A degree or equivalent experience in philosophy, theology, ethics, cultural anthropology, or a related field is required. Advanced studies or specialized training in these areas will be considered an asset.
Experience:
Volunteers should have prior experience in content creation, particularly in developing educational or ethical materials. Experience working with diverse cultural contexts and understanding ethical frameworks is essential. Familiarity with AI systems and moral reasoning is a plus.
Languages:
Proficiency in English is mandatory, as all content will be developed in this language. Knowledge of additional languages, particularly those relevant to the cultural contexts being represented in the scenarios, is considered a valuable asset.
Additional Notes:
This is a remote volunteer position, and each volunteer must have a laptop and a stable internet connection. Participation in weekly coordination meetings via Zoom or Google Meet is required, specifically every Thursday from 1:00–1:30 PM UTC. The role is designed to be flexible, allowing volunteers to contribute from anywhere while ensuring that they can meet the outlined responsibilities and deadlines.
