Job Overview:

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Fundraising Operations Assistant will have a diverse set of responsibilities, including: processing incoming donations such as cash, cheques, card payments, and digital contributions; maintaining organized and secure digital records of donations and correspondence; updating Gift Aid declarations in compliance with HMRC regulations; tracking email subscription statuses and supporter communications; managing recurring donor accounts; conducting regular data audits to ensure the accuracy of supporter records; processing invoices related to fundraising operations; serving as the first point of contact for supporter inquiries; maintaining accurate records of supporter interactions; collaborating with the Fundraising Team to enhance supporter journeys; supporting monthly financial reconciliation; applying relevant data protection and fundraising regulations; participating in the development of fundraising operations policies; and contributing to operational improvements and documentation.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Fundraising Operations Assistant position should possess a minimum of experience working in operational, administrative, fundraising, finance, or data-related roles.
