Job Overview:
The Impact Measurement and Management (IMM) Consultant will play a crucial role in Prosper Global Ventures, which is the impact investing arm of Prosper Global. The consultant will be responsible for implementing the established IMM approach across various funds and ensuring alignment with global frameworks and standards such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Global Impact Investing Network's IRIS+. The consultant will also provide post-investment IMM support to portfolio companies and pilot partners, focusing on enhancing business resilience and investment attractiveness. This consultancy is initially for a 6-month family leave coverage, with the potential for extension or transition into a full-time role based on performance and fit. The consultant will work closely with various teams within Prosper Global Ventures and will report to senior directors based in the United States and Colombia.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The consultant's duties will include implementing the Prosper Global Ventures’ IMM approach across its family of funds, managing bi-annual portfolio company impact data collection, producing the 2026 Impact Report, and supporting the launch of the Resilient Future Fund. The consultant will conduct full impact and ESG reviews for new equity investments, apply the Climate Adaptation & Resilience Framework, analyze thesis alignment, and evaluate potential impacts. Additionally, the consultant will provide post-investment support to portfolio companies, including developing their theory of change, identifying impact KPIs, and advising on data systems. The consultant will also support the Innovation Catalyst by updating the Theory of Change and contributing to fundraising efforts.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in impact investing, impact measurement and management, or related fields, with at least 2 years of experience working with impact funds or early-stage startups. A strong understanding of impact measurement concepts and industry standards is essential, along with project management experience and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders remotely. Professional experience in emerging markets is preferred, and candidates should possess strong communication skills, both written and oral, with fluency in English. Familiarity with AI-enabled tools for productivity and knowledge management is also required.
Educational Background:
