Job Overview:
In this role, you will lead high-impact projects in collaboration with directors and deputy directors, focusing on defining, refining, and executing priority strategic projects and initiatives. Your responsibilities will include shaping and driving strategy efforts, providing strategic thought partnership, project management, analytical support, content development, and facilitation. You will manage complex projects that involve stakeholders from various foundation teams and may include external partners. Additionally, you will provide ad hoc support for shorter-term strategy needs, which may involve developing content, conducting analyses, managing investments, and coordinating with both internal and external partners.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Your primary duties will include scoping, designing, leading, and evaluating multiple concurrent strategic projects while acting as the day-to-day senior manager of strategy development within a collaborative functional team. You will liaise with internal collaborators to build productive relationships with partner teams, technical experts, and country offices, serving as an ambassador for the DATA team and the broader Gender Equality Division. You will partner with the DATA Management Team to identify opportunities for accelerated programmatic impact, including scoping potential new areas of work and preparing recommendations for leadership. You will also serve as a thought partner to program staff, advising on partner management, research and analysis, and content development to support priority investments and team goals. Ensuring the team has the right processes and collaboration models to advance strategic priorities will be essential, as will leading collaborative processes to develop materials for strategy reviews and other engagements with foundation leadership. You will promote efficiency and productivity by providing leadership in process development and improvement, and serve as an active member of the Gender Equality Strategy, Planning, and Management cohort, contributing to strategy, planning, and team operations as needed. Lastly, you will promote an inclusive team culture by modeling collaborative behaviors and addressing issues transparently and constructively.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess mastery-level knowledge of structured problem solving and strategic business planning, with the ability to identify and communicate frameworks that facilitate strategy creation and analysis. Excellent skills in converting analytical work products into compelling visualizations and persuasive narratives for diverse audiences are essential. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to learn new content quickly, identify connections, and manage multiple priorities effectively. A willingness to question and challenge colleagues constructively is also important. Knowledge and experience in global development, particularly in areas such as global health data systems, AI, digital connectivity, research methods, and economic evaluation, are highly desirable. Comfort with ambiguity and unstructured situations, along with excellent organizational, facilitation, and communication skills, are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is also necessary.

Educational Background:
An advanced professional degree or equivalent demonstrated experience in a relevant field such as global health, data and engineering, economics, or business administration is required for this position.

Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of five years of strategy development experience, with at least three years leading strategy development and implementation projects at a top-tier management consulting firm or equivalent expertise. Experience in global health or related fields is a plus.

Languages:
