Job Overview:
CIMMYT is seeking an outstanding, self-motivated, and results-oriented professional for the position of Auxiliar de Alojamiento to work in the Hospitality area within the Corporate Services Program of CIMMYT. The position is located at the CIMMYT campus in Texcoco, State of Mexico, which is situated 45 km northeast of Mexico City. The Auxiliar de Alojamiento will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of accommodation facilities, ensuring a pleasant environment for guests and residents. This role requires a proactive approach to service and teamwork, as well as the ability to follow instructions from supervisors effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities of the Auxiliar de Alojamiento include performing cleaning duties in various accommodation areas, including rooms and bathrooms, quickly and discreetly under the guidance of a supervisor. Specific tasks include ensuring the cleanliness of dormitories, apartments, and houses; cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms; making beds and changing linens; cleaning common areas of dormitories; reporting any maintenance issues, damage, or missing items to the supervisor; sending dirty laundry to the laundry service and operating laundry equipment or assisting staff with this task as required; reporting necessary materials and utensils for the job, as well as maintenance needs for assigned areas; providing general support to guests and residents; and performing any other activities assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Auxiliar de Alojamiento position must have at least a primary education level. Previous experience in a similar role is required. Knowledge of the English language is an advantage. The candidate must also demonstrate the following competencies: teamwork, proactivity in interpersonal relationships in a productive space, and service orientation. Additionally, the candidate must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as directed by the supervisor.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a minimum of primary education. This foundational level of education is essential for understanding and executing the cleaning and maintenance tasks associated with the role effectively.

Experience:
Candidates should possess relevant experience in a similar position, which will enable them to perform the duties and responsibilities of the Auxiliar de Alojamiento efficiently. This experience is crucial for understanding the expectations of cleanliness and service in a hospitality context.

Languages:
