Job Overview:
The Information Management Associate for Cash-Based Interventions (CBI) will play a crucial role in supporting the CBI unit's data collection, protection, management, and utilization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Unified Cash Transfer data and the systems required for its storage, protection, and analysis. This position is vital for providing flexibility to address diverse humanitarian needs through cash assistance, which covers the common needs of people within each Strategic Priority through a harmonized transfer. The incumbent will contribute to humanitarian outcomes by supporting the CBI unit's reporting and monitoring efforts, collecting, consolidating, and extracting relevant data for use in internal and external publications, reviews, reports, and assessments. Additionally, the role involves ensuring that data sharing procedures and deadlines are respected, particularly for internal, Unified Cash Transfer, OCHA, partner, and donor requests for information.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Information Management Associate include providing technical support for the implementation of an integrated mechanism for data gathering and information management across CBI activities. The incumbent will assist in data collection, input, cleaning, validation, and initial analysis of data for the IOM CBI program unit, contributing to the overall management of a fully functional database using software such as Excel, Kobo toolbox, SPSS, and Power BI. The associate will monitor data collection activities related to CBI, maintain relevant and updated datasets, including population data and cash disbursements, and coordinate with the Senior Project Associate to prepare and verify all necessary data for cash assistance transfers to beneficiaries. Furthermore, the associate will support timely preparation and generation of information products by preparing templates in line with the IOM style guide and assist in systematic reporting at the cluster level for CBI activities through the 4Ws. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a high school diploma with at least five years of relevant work experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law, or related fields from an accredited academic institution with three years of relevant professional experience. Additionally, candidates should have experience in data management and the use of various techniques for data visualization and monitoring for CBI programming. Extensive knowledge of data protection guidelines and principles is essential, and experience working with a non-governmental organization and/or international organization is considered an advantage. Familiarity with CBI programming within IOM and/or other UN agencies is also beneficial.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a high school diploma with significant relevant work experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law, or similar disciplines from an accredited institution. This educational foundation is crucial for understanding the complexities of migration and humanitarian assistance.

Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience if they hold a Bachelor's degree, or five years if they possess only a high school diploma. Experience in data management, data visualization, and monitoring for CBI programming is essential. Familiarity with data protection guidelines and principles is also required, along with experience working in a non-governmental or international organization, which is advantageous. Knowledge of CBI programming within IOM or other UN agencies is a plus.

Languages:
Fluency in English and Ukrainian is required, both oral and written. All IOM staff members are required to be fluent in one of the IOM's official languages (English, French, Spanish). Proficiency in the required languages will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
