Job Overview:
The position of Chef·fe de Projets Technique - Field Support Team is situated within the Emergency Delegated Directorate of Action contre la Faim. The primary role involves defining and implementing the 'Field Support Team' project, as well as contributing to the specific 'CAST' project, which focuses on advocacy and support for the Global WASH cluster. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing the project definition, overseeing its implementation, and ensuring strategic and operational management. This role requires a proactive approach to project development and support, with a focus on achieving specific objectives related to the CAST initiative.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess approximately 10 years of experience in the humanitarian sector, particularly in WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) contexts. Significant experience in humanitarian coordination roles, especially within cluster coordination, is essential. Familiarity with multi-donor humanitarian project management, including project cycles, proposal writing, narrative and financial reporting, and logframes, is required. Knowledge of humanitarian coordination systems and clusters, including UN mechanisms and networks, is crucial. Experience in managing international deployments, including administrative aspects such as contracting, visas, security clearances, and insurance, is advantageous. Additionally, experience in human resources management, including recruitment and consultant contracting, is beneficial.
Educational Background:
A relevant educational background is required, typically in fields related to humanitarian assistance, project management, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications in these areas may be preferred, reflecting the complexity and demands of the role.
Experience:
The position requires a substantial level of experience, specifically around 10 years in the humanitarian sector, with a strong emphasis on WASH-related roles and cluster coordination. Candidates should have a proven track record of managing complex projects in challenging environments, demonstrating leadership and strategic thinking capabilities.
Languages:
Fluency in both written and spoken English is mandatory for this position. Proficiency in additional languages, particularly French, is considered an asset, enhancing communication within diverse teams and with stakeholders.
Additional Notes:
The employment status for this position is Integrated Executive – Fixed-term contract (CDD) – Full-time. The role is based in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis), with a salary range of €46,000 to €57,000 gross annually, depending on experience. Additional benefits include a seniority bonus after three years of service, 25 days of annual leave, and 21 RTT days. Health coverage is provided, with 80% of costs covered by ACF. There are provisions for salary maintenance during illness, maternity, and paternity leave. Transportation allowances cover 50% of the commuting costs, and meal vouchers are partially funded by the organization. Remote work is permitted from metropolitan territory, with mandatory in-office presence for 10 days per year and collective meetings up to three days per month.
