Job Overview:
The position of Especialista en Desarrollo e Implementación de la Propuesta Pedagógica is crucial for the successful execution of the Horizontes Amazonía program, which aims to enhance secondary education in the Amazon regions of Peru. The specialist will lead the comprehensive implementation and progressive scaling of the educational proposal, ensuring that all components are designed, developed, validated, and operationalized effectively. This role requires collaboration with local actors to guarantee that the educational approach is culturally relevant and sustainable, ultimately aiming to equip adolescents with the necessary skills for active citizenship and environmental stewardship. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Especialista include leading the development, validation, and implementation of the pedagogical proposal, ensuring that all educational materials and methodologies are completed and utilized effectively. The specialist will supervise the design and production of educational resources, provide technical guidance to educational institutions, and monitor the application of active methodologies and innovative pedagogical projects. Additionally, the specialist will coordinate training for teachers and educational leaders, ensuring that the pedagogical approaches are integrated into teacher training programs. The role also involves formulating recommendations for continuous improvement of the educational proposal and ensuring measurable educational outcomes for the targeted adolescent population in the Amazon regions.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a degree in Education, Social Sciences, Humanities, Economics, or related fields. A completed postgraduate degree in public management, economics, social sciences, or related areas is required. Additionally, candidates should have over 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in leadership or coordination roles within the public or private education sector. Experience in projects related to education for indigenous populations or intercultural approaches is highly desirable, particularly with Amazonian indigenous communities. Candidates should also have experience in social projects as an advisor or consultant, with a focus on interculturality being a plus.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Education, Social Sciences, or Economics, along with a postgraduate degree in a related area. This educational foundation is essential for understanding the complexities of educational policy and pedagogy, particularly in the context of intercultural and bilingual education.

Experience:
The position requires extensive experience, specifically over 10 years in the field of education, with a strong emphasis on leadership roles.
