Job Overview:
The HR Systems Analyst (security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Security & Integrations) plays a crucial role in managing the functional design, build, and maintenance of Workday's integration layer and security configuration. This position is responsible for ensuring that all Workday users have secure and efficient access to the system. The analyst will design, test, and enhance integrations between Workday and various downstream systems, while also configuring security groups and policies in accordance with IRC's data classification standards. The role involves building rule-based automation for high-volume, structured processes and requires collaboration with various departments to identify opportunities for process improvement. The analyst will also be responsible for monitoring integration health, troubleshooting issues, and producing reports related to integration performance and security compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of the HR Systems Analyst include designing, building, testing, and maintaining Workday integrations using tools such as EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, and Orchestrate. The analyst will own the functional design process for Workday security and integrations, escalating complex decisions to the Global HR Systems Product Manager. Additionally, the role involves configuring and maintaining Workday security groups, business process security policies, and domain security policies. The analyst will build and maintain automation for high-volume processes, proactively monitor integration health, troubleshoot failures, and validate configurations during Workday releases. Gathering requirements from HR and non-HR partners, collaborating with various departments, and producing reports on integration performance are also essential duties.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience managing data sharing and integrations between enterprise software applications. Hands-on experience with Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio is required, along with a working knowledge of Workday Orchestrate. A strong understanding of Workday's security framework, data security/classification frameworks, and experience with large datasets is essential. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize work effectively. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are also necessary, along with flexibility in adapting to changing priorities.
Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a focus on information technology, human resources, or a related discipline being preferred. Additional certifications, such as Workday Pro certification in Integrations or Security, are considered a strong plus.
Experience:
The position requires at least 4 years of professional experience in managing data sharing and integrations between enterprise software applications. Experience in a globally distributed environment and familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems are advantageous. Candidates with experience in the nonprofit sector, particularly in delivering systems across varying IT infrastructures, will be given preference.
Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, with additional language skills being a plus, especially in languages relevant to the IRC's operational regions.
