The consultant will be responsible for enabling evidence-based planning, implementation, monitoring, learning, and reporting for the NJFP, ensuring that the program effectively addresses the challenges faced by young graduates in the labor market.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for this position must possess a strong background in data analytics, with proven experience in managing and analyzing large datasets. Additionally, the consultant should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to diverse audiences. Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation frameworks is essential, along with experience in stakeholder engagement and capacity building.
Educational Background:
A master's degree in a relevant field such as data science, statistics, economics, social sciences, or a related discipline is required for this position. Candidates with additional certifications in data analytics or related areas will be considered favorably. A strong academic background will provide the necessary foundation for understanding the complexities of youth employment and empowerment.
Experience:
The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in data analytics, monitoring and evaluation, or a related field. Experience working with youth employment programs or initiatives, particularly in developing countries, is highly desirable. The consultant should also have a track record of successfully managing projects and collaborating with various stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and international organizations.
Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory for this position, as it is the primary language of communication within the UNDP and for reporting purposes. Proficiency in local languages spoken in Nigeria would be considered an asset, as it would facilitate better engagement with local stakeholders and communities.
Additional Notes:
This consultancy position is for a duration of 10 months, and the consultant is expected to work in Abuja, Nigeria. The role is full-time, and the consultant will be required to submit proposals directly through the UNDP supplier portal.
