Job Overview:
The Chauffeur is responsible for the safe transportation of staff and authorized personnel between the regional office and various required destinations. This role demands a courteous and professional service, assisting passengers as needed during boarding and alighting from the vehicle, as well as addressing any other travel-related needs. The Chauffeur is also tasked with the general maintenance of the assigned vehicle, ensuring its cleanliness, proper functioning, and conducting necessary preventive maintenance and repairs to guarantee safety and availability. This position is crucial for maintaining the operational efficiency of FHI 360's programs by ensuring that personnel can travel safely and reliably to their destinations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Transport staff from the regional office and project goods, consultants, and visitors to designated locations.
- Ensure the safety, cleanliness, security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security, and maintenance of the vehicle.
- Conduct routine maintenance on the vehicle, including oil changes, inspections, brakes, and tire pressure checks.
- Organize major repairs for the vehicle when necessary.
- Ensure all mandatory vehicle documents are in order and up to date, including insurance, logbooks, and necessary spare parts.
- Plan routes and needs based on the schedule or ad-hoc requests from the office.
- Ensure that passengers adhere to all road safety regulations.
- Respond to special requests by making errands, deliveries, or pickups as instructed.
- May provide protection for clients in areas considered high-risk.
- Execute any other assigned tasks as required.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of a 3rd-grade education level.
- At least 3 years of professional driving experience.
- Valid driving license categories B and C, and a clean criminal record.
- Experience working with NGOs, especially on projects funded by the U.S. government.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good knowledge of partner structures related to the project.
- Must be dynamic, respectful, courteous, and punctual.
- Ability to anticipate traffic problems in the city and manage stress while driving.
- Good knowledge of safety rules related to driving.

Educational Background:
The position requires at least a minimum educational level equivalent to the 3rd grade. This foundational education is essential for understanding basic vehicle operation and safety protocols, as well as for effective communication and interaction with passengers and colleagues.

Experience:
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience. This experience should ideally include work with NGOs, particularly in projects funded by the U.S. government, which would provide familiarity with the operational standards and expectations in such environments.

Languages:
