The Senior Specialist in Biodiversity, Bioeconomy and Private Sector Engagement will play a crucial role in advancing UNDP's mission to promote sustainable development through the integration of biodiversity and bioeconomy principles into private sector engagement. Educational Background:
Candidates must possess an advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in environmental science, economics, sustainable development, or a related field. A strong academic background in biodiversity conservation and bioeconomy is essential, along with relevant certifications or training in sustainable development practices.
Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in biodiversity conservation, bioeconomy, and private sector engagement. Candidates should have a proven track record of successfully implementing projects that integrate biodiversity principles into economic development initiatives. Experience working with international organizations, government agencies, and private sector partners is highly desirable.
Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, both written and spoken. Proficiency in additional languages, particularly Bahasa Indonesia, is considered an asset and will enhance communication with local stakeholders.
Additional Notes:
This position is offered as an individual contractor role, with a contract duration of 30 working days within a 6-month period. The position is remote, allowing for flexibility in work location. - Organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions to raise awareness and build capacity among private sector stakeholders regarding biodiversity issues.

Required Qualifications:
