Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Adjoint(e) de Programme include but are not limited to: providing technical support and contributing to the development and implementation of various activities and processes in their area of specialization; ensuring alignment with broader programmatic policies and guidelines; supporting project management for specific programs to ensure activities are conducted in accordance with set objectives and WFP policies; preparing various reports and data analyses, highlighting trends and issues while ensuring compliance with quality control standards; accurately and timely recording data in the relevant technical area; collaborating with internal counterparts to promote effective cooperation and implementation of ongoing project activities; coordinating with local partners, agencies, NGOs, and government institutions to conduct food security analyses and ensure effective food assistance delivery; contributing to capacity building for WFP staff, cooperating partners, and national authorities in the relevant technical area; serving as a focal point for resolving operational issues; supervising and reviewing the work of support staff, providing practical guidance to achieve objectives within agreed standards and timelines; applying standard emergency preparedness practices to enable WFP to respond quickly and deploy necessary resources in affected areas at the onset of a crisis.
