Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a strong background in business development, economic analysis, or a related field. They should have proven experience in conducting assessments and diagnostics for MSMEs, particularly in the context of the critical mineral sector. Familiarity with market analysis and business strategy development is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, along with the ability to communicate findings effectively to diverse audiences. Candidates should also demonstrate a commitment to sustainable development and an understanding of the challenges faced by MSMEs in emerging markets.
Educational Background:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, development studies, or a related field is required. A master's degree or higher qualification in a relevant discipline will be considered an asset. Candidates should have a solid understanding of MSME dynamics and the critical mineral sector, supported by academic training and professional experience.
Experience:
Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in conducting assessments, market analysis, or business development support for MSMEs. Experience working with international organizations or development agencies is highly desirable. Proven track record of successfully implementing similar projects will be an advantage.
Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, as all reports and communications will be conducted in this language. Knowledge of local languages spoken in Ghana would be considered a valuable asset, enhancing communication with local stakeholders and MSMEs.
Additional Notes:
This position is classified as an individual contractor role, which implies a flexible working arrangement. The contract duration is for 50 working days over a period of four months. The role is remote, allowing for candidates from various locations to apply.
