The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Trainee position is part of the She Demines programme, which aims to increase women's participation in humanitarian mine action. As a Deminer Trainee, participants will be required to fully engage in all assigned modules of the EOD Level 1 course, which includes both classroom instruction and practical field exercises. They must adhere to all safety regulations, operational procedures, and the code of conduct throughout the training. Active participation in practical exercises, assessments, and other learning activities is mandatory. Trainees are expected to maintain regular attendance and communicate promptly with program coordinators regarding any issues that may affect their participation. Additionally, they must demonstrate responsibility, discipline, commitment, and teamwork throughout the course, while also contributing to a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.

Candidates must be female and possess a high school diploma or higher education degree. - The exact dates will be communicated to successful candidates upon selection. During the one-month training period, participants will receive a volunteer allowance of $460 to cover living expenses, along with provided accommodation and meals by the Humanitarian Demining Training Centre. Additionally, trainees will be covered by accident insurance related to the training and life insurance during the training period.
