Job Overview:
This position involves consultancy for the development of restorative justice practices within the penitentiary and prison system in Colombia. The consultant will be expected to design and implement methodologies that promote restorative justice, focusing on individuals in vulnerable situations or those deprived of liberty. The role requires a deep understanding of psychosocial processes and the ability to facilitate group and individual sessions in institutional or community contexts. The consultant will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that the restorative practices are effectively integrated into the existing systems, thereby contributing to the overall improvement of justice and rehabilitation processes.

Educational Background:
Candidates must possess a professional degree in psychology or social work. This educational background is essential as it provides the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge required to effectively engage with individuals in vulnerable situations and to implement psychosocial interventions.
Experience:
The position requires a minimum of two years of relevant experience. This experience must be demonstrable and should specifically relate to the implementation or facilitation of psychosocial processes for individuals in vulnerable situations or those deprived of liberty. Candidates should have a track record of working in institutional or community settings, showcasing their ability to apply participatory methodologies effectively.
Languages:
Fluency in Spanish is mandatory for this position, as all communications and documentation will be conducted in this language. Knowledge of additional languages may be considered an asset but is not required.
Additional Notes:
The consultancy is expected to last for three months. This position is classified as an individual contractor role, and candidates should be prepared to submit their proposals through the UNDP Quantum supplier portal before the specified deadline. The time zone for submissions is New York time, and candidates must ensure they adhere to this when preparing their proposals.
