Job Overview:
As the Manager of AI Transformation at CHAI, you will play a pivotal role in the organization's significant shift towards AI adoption. This position is not technical in nature but focuses on internal AI adoption strategies, identifying opportunities, and ensuring responsible use of AI tools across more than 35 countries. You will be responsible for managing CHAI's internal AI adoption agenda, which includes building systems, training staff, and fostering relationships that facilitate effective AI usage. Your success will be measured by how well you can integrate AI tools into the daily operations of CHAI, ensuring that the organization's investment in AI yields tangible benefits. You will oversee the governance process for AI use, manage change communications, and develop training programs to equip staff with the necessary skills to utilize AI effectively. This role requires collaboration with various teams within CHAI, including the technical AI builder team and the Innovation team, to ensure that AI tools are effectively designed and implemented for programmatic and global health work.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree and have at least 6–8 years of professional experience in areas such as change management, organizational transformation, learning and development, management consulting, or technology adoption. A strong enthusiasm for AI and its potential benefits for CHAI is essential, along with an understanding of associated risks such as data privacy and responsible use. Candidates should demonstrate advanced proficiency with modern AI tools and a proven track record of driving adoption of new tools across a distributed organization. Experience in developing and delivering training programs, strong communication skills, and experience in policy development and vendor management are also required.
Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree is required for this position, with a preference for candidates who have pursued further education or specialized training in fields related to change management, technology adoption, or organizational development.
Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of 6–8 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in roles that involve change management, organizational transformation, or technology adoption. Experience in managing or coordinating cross-functional teams and initiatives is also beneficial.
Languages:

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adoption, Change Management, and Communications (40%): You will own the project management, change management, and communications for AI rollouts across CHAI, coordinating enterprise-wide tool procurement and rollout. You will build demand for AI adoption by launching initiatives such as the AI Champion network and the Community of Practice, while also managing the AI@CHAI inbox for ongoing staff inquiries.
- Training and Enablement (25%): Your responsibilities will include building and managing CHAI's AI training programs, developing training resources, designing learning journeys, coordinating vendor-led trainings, and running AI onboarding for new employees. You will also share best practices and collaborate with builders to refine successful solutions.
- Governance, Policy, and Vendor Management (25%): You will develop and maintain AI governance frameworks and policies in coordination with the Innovation team and IT, ensuring compliance with best practices and ethical guidelines. You will manage vendor relationships for procured AI tools, including procurement and license management.
- Metrics, Reporting, and Documentation (10%): You will define and track adoption metrics, conduct quarterly analyses, and assess the ROI of AI tool usage. Additionally, you will document use cases through data collection and surveys to enhance CHAI's understanding of AI utilization.
