The G4 Division specifically advises on logistics to the Command, Land Operations Planning Group, and Combat Readiness Evaluation teams. Established as part of NATO's strategic framework, LANDCOM operates in multiple countries and employs a diverse workforce dedicated to enhancing military cooperation and operational effectiveness.

Job Overview:
The IKM Analyst position is integral to the G4 Division at LANDCOM, focusing on logistics management and data handling. The primary responsibilities include inputting and retrieving data from the Logistics Functional Area System (LOGFAS) and assisting in training related to logistics systems. The role also involves integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into logistics administration. The IKM Analyst will support the Assistant for Logistics Information Systems Management and Administration in developing logistics situational awareness products, such as the Recognized Logistics Picture (RLP), and will contribute to the overall logistics functional area support. This position requires a proactive approach to data management and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure effective logistics operations within NATO's framework.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The incumbent will perform a variety of duties, including but not limited to: providing logistics functional area support to the Assistant Chief of Staff (ACOS), contributing to accurate logistics situational awareness through data collection and analysis, assisting in the development of logistics data collections outside the functional area, and supporting the establishment of logistics situational awareness products. The IKM Analyst will also aid in the implementation of logistics functional area systems within the G4 Division and participate in training sessions to enhance interoperability with other functional areas. Additionally, the role involves attending meetings and conferences organized by the G4 Division, ensuring that logistics support is effectively communicated and coordinated across various NATO operations.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a strong background in knowledge management and military logistics. Specifically, they should have experience in managing logistics applications, such as LOGFAS, and have served in a military or civilian logistics role. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to maintain knowledge management systems, support knowledge sharing initiatives, and develop logistics management programs. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multinational environment are essential. The candidate should also be capable of adapting to changing situations and tasks, demonstrating sound judgment and professionalism in decision-making processes.

Educational Background:
A university degree in logistics, transport, or a related discipline is required, along with two years of relevant experience. Alternatively, candidates with higher secondary education and advanced vocational training in logistics, coupled with four years of related experience, will also be considered. The educational qualifications must align with the specific job requirements, and any ambiguity in qualifications will prioritize job-specific experience over standard educational levels.

Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience in logistics applications and knowledge management. Experience in a military headquarters or international organization is highly desirable, particularly in logistics planning and training. The role requires familiarity with both national and international logistics environments, as well as the ability to contribute to the development and implementation of logistics management programs.

Languages:
Proficiency in English is mandatory, with a required language skill level of SLP 3333, encompassing listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The work environment primarily operates in English, necessitating strong communication skills in both oral and written forms. Additional language skills may be beneficial but are not specified as mandatory.

Additional Notes:
This position is part of a NATO-2030 agenda project and is limited to a three-year definite duration. Candidates must be nationals of a NATO member country and meet age requirements, being over 21 and under 60 years at the time of appointment. The role may involve operational deployments and temporary duty assignments, which could exceed 30 days. Selected candidates will receive various allowances and tax exemptions as per NATO regulations, and must comply with host nation residency requirements.
