Job Overview:
The Programme Associate position at UNHCR is a critical role that involves supporting the assessment and analysis of the needs of persons of concern in the country or region. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Programme Associate include supporting the assessment and analysis of needs of persons of concern, managing the development of a network of partners, assisting in the selection of partners, providing technical advice to the field, and ensuring compliance with partnership agreements. The incumbent will also contribute to the review and analysis of operations plans and reports, follow up on compliance with audit certificates, and provide training on resource allocation processes. Additionally, the Programme Associate will be responsible for identifying and managing risks, ensuring decision-making is based on risk assessments, and performing other duties as required. This role is integral to the successful implementation of UNHCR's programs and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Programme Associate position must possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma, or 2 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or higher. Essential qualifications include demonstrated experience in programme management, knowledge of Results-Based Management, and proficiency in computer skills, particularly in MS Office with advanced Excel capabilities. Desirable qualifications include completion of UNHCR Learning Programmes or specific training relevant to the position, as well as experience in programme management training and capacity building activities.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a High School Diploma for candidates with 3 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent for those with 2 years of relevant experience. Experience:
