Job Overview:
The CRS Advisor I for Knowledge Management and Learning (KML) is a short-term role designed to provide dedicated support to the Health, Safety and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Security Unit (HSSU) for a duration of 14.5 months. The primary focus of this position is to alleviate the operational burden on existing HSSU members by establishing organized and repeatable systems for training delivery, knowledge management, staff learning, communications, and compliance tracking. The role aims to create sustainable improvements that will outlast the assignment, ensuring that the HSSU can continue to function effectively and efficiently. Key deliverables include enhancing data quality, revamping the MyCRS HSSU page, streamlining training communications, and developing asynchronous training resources for HSS staff and leaders. The advisor will also work on establishing a global internal HSS community of practice and improving compliance tracking processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the CRS Advisor I include reorganizing and maintaining HSSU knowledge assets such as MyCRS pages, document libraries, and standardized tools. The advisor will build and enhance digital systems to improve access and reduce manual efforts across HSSU. They will coordinate learning delivery for various training programs, develop asynchronous training modules, and improve compliance tracking processes related to travel risk and training. Additionally, the advisor will support HSS communications and reporting, document improvements, and create sustainability recommendations in collaboration with HSSU, KML, and other stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and have 5-8 years of related experience in knowledge management, learning and development, or program coordination. Experience in coordinating trainings and events in complex environments is essential, along with proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft 36
  • The ability to design information architecture and practical knowledge-management systems is also required. Strong analytical thinking, writing, and communication skills are necessary for success in this role.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required for this position. A Master’s degree in a related discipline is preferred and may enhance a candidate's qualifications.

Experience:
Candidates should have 5-8 years of experience in fields related to knowledge management, learning and development, or program coordination. Experience in coordinating trainings, webinars, and events in complex operating environments is crucial for this role.

Languages:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory for this position. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset but is not required.

This position is remote, with some potential travel required. There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this role.
