Job Overview:
The position of Technical Assistant in Education at NRC is crucial for the effective implementation of educational programs aimed at providing equitable access to quality education for children and youth in vulnerable situations. The Technical Assistant will assist in the daily operations of educational projects, ensuring that activities align with NRC's policies and guidelines. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Technical Assistant will have a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to: working in compliance with NRC's policies and guidelines; assisting in the implementation of educational projects according to the work plan; preparing reports on activity progress as requested by supervisors; ensuring proper archiving of project-related documents; proposing improvements for project enhancement; integrating education programs with other key competencies of NRC; actively participating in capacity-building efforts for beneficiaries; conducting data collection for feasibility studies and assessments; assisting the Education Officer in organizing training workshops; participating in vulnerability analysis with community leaders; verifying beneficiary lists; organizing follow-up coaching for beneficiaries; requisitioning necessary materials for training and assessments; collaborating respectfully with NRC partners; and ensuring gender, inclusion, and protection are integrated into educational activities.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of a Bac+3 degree in social sciences, education, sociology, or equivalent fields. A minimum of two years of professional experience as a project assistant in a humanitarian or recovery context is required. Additionally, candidates should have at least two years of prior experience in community support or mobilization in education or youth training sectors. Proven results in fulfilling job responsibilities are essential, along with strong written and verbal communication skills in French. Proficiency in English is an asset, and knowledge of local languages spoken in the Tahoua region is highly desirable. Experience working with rural communities and training them in local languages is also beneficial, as is the ability to engage with local partners and government entities.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a minimum of a Bac+3 degree in relevant fields such as social sciences, education, or sociology.
