Job Overview:
The HR Administration Officer position is crucial for ensuring effective, compliant, and proactive management of human resources within NRC. Duties and Responsibilities:
The HR Administration Officer will be responsible for the daily implementation of HR and administrative activities. General responsibilities include ensuring adherence to NRC policies, manuals, and guidelines; implementing delegated support functions in relation to the action plan; drafting reports on the progress of support activities as requested by supervisors or management; ensuring proper archiving of documents and personnel files; encouraging and proposing improvements to support functions; and managing staff under their supervision. Specific responsibilities include collecting data for payroll preparation, managing recruitment processes in accordance with established procedures, monitoring contract periods for staff, updating and archiving personnel files in compliance with NRC guidelines, organizing and tracking staff training, supporting the implementation of capacity-building policies, providing technical support to staff regarding HR issues, reporting any issues related to labor laws and NRC guidelines, coordinating with key partners and institutions in HR, and ensuring the timely signing and archiving of monthly payroll and timesheets.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have proven professional experience in human resources in a similar role within a humanitarian context. A higher education degree in human resources or a related field is required. Previous experience in complex and unstable contexts or with international NGOs is an asset. Demonstrated results in fulfilling the responsibilities of the position are essential. Proficiency in French is mandatory, and knowledge of English is an advantage. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, excellent writing abilities, and the capacity to communicate effectively in diverse settings.
