Job Overview:
The CRS Advisor I - Knowledge Management and Learning (KML) position is a short-term role designed to provide dedicated support to the Health, Safety and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Security Unit (HSSU) for a duration of 14.5 months. The primary objective of this role is to alleviate the operational burden on existing HSSU members by establishing organized and repeatable systems for training delivery, knowledge management, staff learning, communications, and compliance tracking. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a sustainable framework that enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of HSSU operations. Key deliverables include improving data quality, revamping the MyCRS HSSU page, streamlining training communication and registration processes, developing asynchronous training courses, and establishing a global internal HSS community of practice. This role requires a proactive approach to building systems that can endure beyond the assignment, ensuring that the HSSU continues to function smoothly and effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the CRS Advisor I - KML include reorganizing and maintaining HSSU knowledge assets, such as MyCRS pages, document libraries, and templates. The advisor will build and enhance digital systems to improve search and access options, automate processes, and reduce manual efforts. Coordination of HSSU learning delivery is a critical aspect of the role, which includes managing various training programs, webinars, and sessions tailored to specific needs. The advisor will also develop asynchronous training modules and onboarding resources for HSS staff and leadership. Additionally, the role involves reviewing and improving compliance tracking processes related to travel risk, training, and safety standards. The advisor will support HSS communications, reporting design, and community-of-practice setups, while documenting improvements and creating sustainability recommendations in collaboration with HSSU, KML, and other stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and have 5-8 years of related experience in knowledge management, learning and development, organizational development, or program coordination. Experience in coordinating trainings, webinars, and events in complex environments is essential. Proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft 365 is required, along with the ability to design information architecture and practical knowledge-management systems. Strong analytical thinking, writing, and communication skills are necessary, particularly in a remote working environment. A strong sense of customer care and service is also expected.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required for this position. Candidates with a Master’s degree in a related discipline are preferred, as this may enhance their qualifications for the role and their ability to contribute effectively to the organization’s objectives.

Experience:
The position requires 5-8 years of relevant experience in fields such as knowledge management, learning and development, organizational development, or program coordination. Candidates should have a proven track record of successfully coordinating trainings, webinars, and learning activities in complex operating environments, demonstrating their ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.

Languages:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory for this position. The ability to communicate clearly and succinctly, especially when working with non-native English speakers, is essential. While English is the primary language required, proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset but is not mandatory.

Additional Notes:
This position is remote, with some potential travel required. There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this role.
