Job Overview:
The position of Directeur.trice Délégué·e Communication involves defining and implementing ACF's communication strategy at both national and international levels. The primary responsibilities include promoting ACF's reputation and image among various audiences, enhancing the reach and influence of advocacy messages and campaigns, and supporting fundraising channels. The role is crucial in positioning ACF as a key player in humanitarian crises and the fight against hunger, ensuring strategic collaborations with country missions. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Communication and Development and will lead a team of 20 individuals, contributing to the success of fundraising strategies and representing ACF externally. The position also requires proposing, testing, and developing innovations related to ACF's communication strategy and actively supporting country missions in enhancing their communication capabilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Communication and possess at least 10 years of experience in a similar role. A proven track record in NGOs within the international solidarity sector is essential, along with experience coordinating communication expertise within an international network. The ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously and a strong capacity for strategic alignment are also required.
Educational Background:
A Master's degree in Communication is mandatory for this position, ensuring that the candidate has a solid foundation in communication principles and practices necessary for the role.
Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, particularly in roles that involve strategic communication within the NGO sector, demonstrating a deep understanding of the challenges and dynamics of international humanitarian work.
Languages:
Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory for this role. Proficiency in additional languages would be considered an asset, enhancing the candidate's ability to communicate effectively in diverse contexts.
Additional Notes:
The employment status is classified as Cadre Intégré, Class 3, with a full-time permanent contract (CDI). The position is based in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis), with a salary range of €61,000 to €69,000 gross annually, depending on experience. Additional benefits include 25 days of annual leave, 21 days of RTT, health coverage with 80% paid by ACF, salary maintenance provisions for illness, maternity, and paternity, transport allowances covering 50% of commuting costs, and meal vouchers with 60% coverage by the association. Remote work is permitted from metropolitan territory, with a requirement for in-office presence four days per month and attendance at collective meetings and events. - Communicate and represent ACF and ACF IN externally.

- Actively contribute to cooperation and integration with the ACFIN network.
- Support country missions in developing communication capacities to keep ACF at the forefront of current events.
