Job Overview:
The primary mission of the position is to define and implement the communication strategy of Action contre la Faim (ACF) at both national and international levels. This involves promoting ACF's reputation and image among various audiences, contributing to the reach and influence of advocacy messages and campaigns, and supporting various fundraising channels. The role also aims to position ACF as a key player in humanitarian crises and the fight against hunger, ensuring an ACFIN approach and strategic collaborations with country missions. Specifically, the responsibilities include leading the Delegated Communication Department and managing a team of 20 individuals, designing and executing the communication strategy and action plan, contributing to the success of fundraising strategies, representing ACF externally, proposing, testing, and developing innovations related to ACF's communication strategy, actively contributing to cooperation and integration with the ACFIN network, and supporting country missions in developing communication capacities to keep ACF at the forefront of current events.

Educational Background:
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Communication or a related field. This educational background is essential to ensure that the individual possesses the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for effective communication in a complex international environment.
Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in communication roles, particularly within non-governmental organizations (NGOs) focused on international solidarity. Candidates should have a strong track record of managing communication strategies and teams, as well as experience in coordinating communication efforts across an international network.
Languages:
Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory for this position. Proficiency in additional languages would be considered an asset, particularly French, given the organization's operational context in France and its international missions.
Additional Notes:
The position is classified as a managerial role (Cadre Intégré, Classe 3) and is a full-time permanent contract (CDI). The workplace is located in Montreuil, Seine-Saint-Denis. The salary ranges from €61,000 to €69,000 gross annually, depending on experience, with additional benefits including a seniority bonus after three years of service at the headquarters. Employees are entitled to 25 days of paid leave and 21 days of RTT (reduction of working time). Health coverage and maternity/paternity leave are partially funded by ACF. Transportation costs are reimbursed at 50%, and meal vouchers are provided with a 60% contribution from the organization. Teleworking is permitted, with a requirement for in-office presence four days a month, along with mandatory attendance for collective meetings and events. - Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and make necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to communication across the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Communication or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in a similar position, preferably within an NGO.
- Proven experience in coordinating communication expertise within an international network.
- Ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously with a strong strategic alignment capability.
